Eddie Broadhead

Eddie was appointed to the Governing Body in October 2016. He taught in three Derbyshire secondary schools as PE Teacher, Head of Business Studies and Pastoral Head of Year. He then moved to the Local Education Authority as a Technical and Vocational Education Initiative Co-ordinator, before becoming a School Improvement Adviser and then 14-19 Manager with Derbyshire County Council. Eddie believes in the positive impact that sports can have on young people’s character and desire to succeed. He hopes to bring knowledge and expertise to the Governing Body in the areas of curriculum design and development, education policy and stakeholder engagement.
