At Burton and South Derbyshire College, sustainability is at the heart of all we do and is a core part of our long-term vision.
We are committed to leading the way on sustainability, including:

- Setting a target to reach net zero emissions by 2050
We have already begun our journey toward becoming a more sustainable organisation, but we recognise that there is still much to do. We will continue to invest sustainably in our estate and implement policies and practices that reduce our environmental impact.
Our commitment extends far beyond our operations. We are embedding sustainability into the experiences of our learners and staff, empowering them to carry forward positive change into their own lives and communities.
