Applying for a Full Time course is simple…
Step 1 - Choose your subject area
Use our website, prospectus and open evenings to help you choose the right course.
Step 2 - Complete & return an application form
Download the form or pick one up from the Learner Hub.
Step 3 - Attend your interview and information event
You will be invited to the next available interview event, where you will have the opportunity to meet the course team and ask any questions you may have.
Interview Event Dates:
Town Centre Campus
3rd April 2017, 24th April 2017, 15th May 2017, 12th June 2017, 19th July 2017.
26th April 2017, 10th May 2017, 12th July 2017.
Step 4 - Secure your place at BSDC
If you are successful in your interview, you will be made a conditional offer via post within 5 working days. All you need to do is confirm your acceptance with the Admissions Team to secure your place at BSDC.
Step 5 – Welcome days
These take place at the beginning of July and give you the chance to meet others who have applied for your course, participate in some fun team-building activities and start to familiarise yourself with College life.
Step 6 - Prepare to enrol at BSDC
After your exam results in August, you will be invited to attend enrolment in late August or early September.
Step 7 - Start college
The majority of our full time courses will start on the 4th September 2017.
