    • Course overview

      Our Junior Chefs Academy is a one-week programme held over half term, designed for aspiring young chefs aged 13 to 16. It offers a fantastic opportunity to develop new culinary skills in a fun, hands-on and supportive environment. The course includes expert tuition, practical skills development and a certificate upon completion.

      Classes are held in our Highly Commended AA Awarded Kitchen and supported by the Geoffrey Harrison Foundation.

      Throughout the course, you’ll:

      • Learn to cook a variety of delicious dishes
      • Develop essential knife skills and food preparation and cooking techniques
      • Take home everything you cook or bake
      • Celebrate your achievement at a graduation presentation lunch, where you’ll receive your certificate

      Our programme is designed to help you:

      • Build and refine your cooking skills
      • Take pride in the food you create
      • Learn the tricks of the trade

      Please note: Learners must wear appropriate footwear, safety shoes are recommended where possible.

    • Programme Fees - Junior Chefs Academy

      £60, including all ingredients and two guests at the graduation presentation lunch.

      Financial support may be available for individuals who are unable to meet the course costs. Please contact the College for more information on hardship funding.

      No formal qualifications are needed, but a genuine passion for cooking is essential.
