We believe that education is important for everyone and we offer a range of courses to support learners with disabilities and/or learning difficulties, as well as those who have few or no qualifications.
Our foundation learning courses will help to prepare you for other courses in the College and/or employment by developing your skills and confidence, so you feel ready to take the next step. You will learn in a safe and friendly environment and will be supported every step of the way by your tutors and other students on the course.
You will focus on key areas of employability such as presentation skills, effective communication, interview skills, working as part of a team and safe learning in the workplace. You will gain skills in independent living, working with the community, personal and social development and achieving individual learning and social targets.
We are committed to ensuring all of our learners feel valued and supported in reaching their goals, be that further education, employment, supported living or supported internships.
We also cater for young adults with complex learning difficulties and/or disabilities with Education and Health Care Plans. Our courses are designed to provide a progression route from school or residential college.
