In the event of actual and/or forecasted adverse weather conditions where campus safety and accessibility have been compromised, BSDC will close our physical campuses, switching to remote learning.
How will I be notified if the College campuses are closed?
Notifications will be added to our website, as well as our virtual learning platform, Canvas. In all other instances, unless notified otherwise, it should be assumed that campuses remain open for business as normal.
Accessing your remote learning
If the College initiates its adverse weather procedure, all scheduled learning sessions will be moved to our digital learning platform Canvas. Learners and apprentices will be asked to login to the platform prior to 10.30am where they will find instructions from their tutor/trainer regarding their planned learning activities including (where applicable) the links to live learning sessions.
