The Stephen Burke Construction Academy, in partnership with St. Modwen Homes, gives students a range of industry opportunities, including bespoke tuition, industry placements and real work experience opportunities with local employers.
Students are also able to take part in real local projects and fulfil custom-made hand-crafted requests under expert tuition as part of BSDC Bespoke.
Each year, outstanding individuals who demonstrate key employability and leadership skills are put forward for an annual Learner of the Year award, sponsored by St. Modwen Homes which gives students the opportunity to interview for construction management and senior technical roles.
In addition, all learners studying with the academy benefit from a discount at TW Wholesale, suppliers of high-quality equipment, tooling and PPE.
