Students at Burton and South Derbyshire College are set to benefit from brand new facilities after the College successfully secured funding through the Government’s Stronger Towns Fund. The facilities boost will include a Mechatronics Suite, Cyber Security Lab, Creative Digital Learning Hub, Games Development Suite and Health and Social Care Suite.
Working with our existing partners, the new mechatronic suite will supplement our existing engineering and computing provision, alongside supporting the STEAM agenda, engaging young people into the engineering sector and leading to high value progression to apprenticeships, higher education and employment.
