All engineering courses will include an element of work experience within relevant, local industries. We work in partnership with industry employers to provide exciting work experience opportunities and to ensure that you develop the skills and expertise employers in the engineering industry are looking for. Many of our students have gone on to secure permanent, full-time employment from their work placement.
The College is proud of our partnership with Toyota Manufacturing UK who offer apprenticeships and support curriculum design to ensure our curriculum reflects the demands of industry. We also work alongside local employers to assist in sourcing work experience and industry placements which enhance skills and personal development, learning and employability.
Additionally, our students take part in skills competitions during their studies, with one of our learners recently coming second in the regional heats of the SkillWeld competition!
