    • Course overview

This course is designed for those with little or no sewing experience. Throughout the duration of the course you will develop your confidence and skills in garment construction. Starting with a series of practical workshops, you will build a strong foundation in essential sewing techniques before progressing to the construction of your own garment with guidance and support throughout.

Throughout the course, you will learn a range of construction techniques while gaining experience using both domestic and industrial sewing machines. Working in a supportive studio environment, you will develop your skills at your own pace, learning how to construct, alter and sew garments while working towards personalised outcomes that suit your individual interests and goals.

Whether you are completely new to sewing or looking to gain confidence in garment construction, this 10-week course will provide the knowledge, practical skills and support to help you develop your abilities in garment making and sewing.
