    • Course overview

This course is ideally suited for young adults with complex learning difficulties and/or disabilities with Education and Health Care Plans. It is designed to provide a progression route from school or residential college. It is based at our secure centre, known as the Andrew Phillips Unit.

Learners work towards a selection of regulated and non-regulated qualifications (quality assured by RARPA) thus enabling them to gain skills in independent living, accessing the community, personal and social development and to achieve individual learning and social targets.

      Ages: 16-24

      Additional Facilities and Support

Andrew Phillips Unit is highly supported and includes a kitchen, dining room, three classrooms, independent living room, a wet room and a sensory room. This enables us to meet the individual care needs of each learner. Learners are supported throughout the whole teaching day, including breaks and lunch, to encourage independence, confidence and self-esteem, thus enabling them to develop and retain life skills.
