    • Course overview

      The Level 3 Paediatric First Aid course is a comprehensive training program specifically designed to equip individuals with the necessary skills and knowledge to provide effective first aid in a paediatric setting. This course is suitable for individuals who have been designated as pediatric first aiders in their workplace or those who wish to gain a deeper understanding of first aid practices for children. 

    • Entry requirements

      Applicants will be expected to have a minimum of 4 GCSEs at grade 4 including either English or maths 

      (or) A level 2 subject specific qualification including a level 2 or equivalent in either English or maths 

      (or) An equivalent occupational experience including a level 2 or equivalent in either English or maths 

    • What modules will I study?

      Our Level 3 Pediatric First Aid course typically covers a range of modules to provide comprehensive training in paediatric first aid skills and knowledge, such as introduction to paediatric first aid, assessing the situation, CPR and AED, dealing with pediatric unconscious casualties, dealing with wounds and bleeds, eye injuries, burns, medical conditions and incident management/reporting 

    • How will I be assessed?

      In this Paediatric First Aid Training course, assessment methods typically include both practical skills demonstrations, written assessments, and continuous assessment. You will be required to demonstrate your competence in various pediatric first aid skills through practical participation, as well as completing written assessments to evaluate your theoretical knowledge of paediatric first aid principles, procedures, protocols. Additionally, your participation in class discussions and observations of your interactions with other participants will be taken into account during the assessment process
