    • Course overview

      This exciting course will provide you with the core knowledge and understanding of various business contexts, with projects assigned by industry leaders to apply your knowledge to real-life industry challenges. In your second year of study, you will focus on developing your skills within a Business Support role. This aims to provide you with the opportunity to enhance your ability to support business functions using various techniques. You will develop knowledge and understanding in supporting the overall running and operations of a business organisation.


      Each T-Level includes an in-depth industry placement that lasts at least 45 days. Students get valuable experience in the workplace to support their journey in developing professional competencies whilst practicing their technical skills in a real-world business environment.

    • Entry requirements

      Applicants will be expected to have a minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 4 including both GCSE maths & English

    • What modules will I study?

      Year 1
      Core modules will focus on:

      • Developing knowledge and understanding of various business contexts 
      • Effective teamwork
      • Quality assurance
      • Compliance
      • Finance
      • Project management
      • Driving change
      • Business behaviours

      An employer set project to focus on:

      • Business context and commercial awareness
      • Working collaboratively with others
      • Undertaking research
      • Reflective practice

      Year 2
      Comprises of two main components:

      • Specialisation in Business Support
      • Continuation of Industry Placement

    • How will I be assessed?

      Year 1:

      • Core Assessment: Externally Set Test – Paper 1 and Paper 2 are both graded A*-E.
      • Employer Set Project: Externally assessed project work is graded A*-E.
      • Industry Placement: Evidence log to show completion of hours required and evidence of development of technical skills and application of knowledge in a workplace environment.

      Year 2: 

      • Synoptic assessment to judge how well the competence requirements have been met. Graded: Distinction, Merit or Pass.
      •  Industry Placement: Evidence log to show completion of hours required and evidence of development of technical skills and application of knowledge in a workplace environment.

    • What can I do next?

      T Levels offer numerous progression opportunities:

      1. University Pathway: Achieve UCAS points through your T Level completion to pursue further studies at university in subject such as International Business Management, Business Sustainability, Business Management with Law, Business Management and Leadership, Business and Globalisation.
      2. Employment: Utilise the skills, knowledge, and experience gained to start working in the business industry.
      3. Apprenticeship: Explore apprenticeship opportunities, allowing you to continue learning (20%) while furthering your skills in the workplace (80%).
