    • Course overview

This course could help you to broaden your knowledge and gain experience in the field of Human Resources. Whether you are currently working in HR and want to consolidate your experience, or whether you would like to work in the area, this qualification could help boost your career.

CIPD qualifications help you to develop the business understanding and technical knowledge that employers look for. They demonstrate that you’ve achieved a certain level of knowledge in HR and learning and development.

This qualification extends and fosters a deeper level of understanding and application and naturally progresses learners' expertise in people practice. It is suited to individuals who are:

      • Aspiring to, or embarking on, a career in people management
      • Working in a people practice role and wish to contribute their knowledge and skills to help shape organisational value
      • Working towards or working in a people manager role

You will be required to attend college for three hours a week, attend tutorials arranged with your tutor and undertake at least four hours self-directed study each week. If you are not already a member of CIPD, you will need to join at the start of the course.

Sessions will  contain a combination of individual and group work. This includes discussions, case studies, presentations, debates, research, workshops and tutorials. Tutorials can be conducted using Microsoft teams. The course starts in September and ends in June.

If you have Learning Difficulty or Disability, please let us know when you apply. You will be offered support in your interview. If you need help completing your application, we can help with this too.

Please note: Specified course fee is for the duration listed.

Please enquire about eligibility for the student loan as this could reduce the fee by £724 (repayable in instalments at a later date).

Please note: Learners will be required to pay an additional membership fee of £109 plus a £40 administration charge for new members directly to CIPD.

This one-off registration fee will give you access to the qualification for its lifetime, typically four to five years, and access to the study support resources, and enable you to sit the qualification assessments.

For more information on this CIPD registration fee please click here.
