We’re proud of our close partnerships and links with local early year settings which provide our learners with work experience opportunities. These include primary and private schools, private day nurseries, school nurseries, childminders, pre-school and specialist schools for children who have additional requirements.
The range of placements available allows learners to build on their understanding of different childcare and education providers, as well as widening their participation in the local community. Many of our students go on to gain employment at the settings where they have been completing work experience, as employers can see first-hand the exceptional standards that our learners possess.
Industry related trips, visits and guest speakers also form part of this exciting curriculum area to enrich your knowledge and experience further. Through the Government’s Turing Programme, our students have had the incredible chance to jet off to South Korea, teaching and learning in a vibrant, international setting.
