We’re looking for friendly individuals, couples, or families in Burton-on-Trent and nearby areas to host international students visiting BSDC. As a host, you’ll earn £165 per week and enjoy a unique cultural experience, while helping a young person feel at home in the UK.

What’s Involved?
- Provide a comfortable, clean, private bedroom
- Offer meals (half board Monday - Friday, full board weekends & holidays)
- Pick up your guest from our Burton Town Centre Campus on arrival, and drop them off when they leave
- Welcome your guest as part of your family - include them in meals, outings, and everyday life
- Help them settle in - show local transport to access college
- Introduce yourself by email before arrival
What You’ll Need:
- A spare room in your home
- Willingness to complete a DBS check (fully funded by BSDC for all household members 16+)
- Availability for a home visit (for safeguarding and support)
