Local employers support future talent through BSDC’s FE & Apprenticeship Awards

Burton and South Derbyshire College (BSDC) has been working with local employers to highlight the success of high achieving students through the College’s FE & Apprenticeship Awards.

Leading up to the event, sponsors who include Hardy Signs, B&Q, Playtonic Games, Everyone Active, Hilton, Bodyswaps, The Do Club, Cosy Direct, Autoclenz, Birmingham Chamber of Commerce, Crdl, National Forest, Ginho Group and BAC O’Conner, have been working with the College to shortlist nominees and select the winners.

Representatives from sponsor organisations gathered for a selection panel event on Tuesday 25th June to discuss the nominations of outstanding learners and select the winners in their sponsored category. The event also provided a valuable opportunity for local businesses to network and create connections with one another.

Set to take place on Thursday 19th September at Pirelli Stadium, the Burton and South Derbyshire College FE & Apprenticeship Awards will celebrate the exceptional skills and achievements of the College's students over the past academic year.

The event will be attended by high achieving students, their families and guest speakers, and will recognise the hard work and dedication of students across various vocational areas. The award categories will not only highlight academic excellence but also the range of skills and qualities that students develop through the College’s Skills Promise.
