    Stephen Burke Bursary Award  

    Stephen was born in Burton upon Trent and after attending Burton Grammar School, progressed through the Construction and Property Industry to the position of Executive Construction Director of St. Modwen. 

    He was committed to inspiring young people to progress to the best they can be. His favourite statement was:

    Applications are closed for the academic year of 24/25 and will reopen in the academic year of 25/26.

    Family Action 

    This programme provides financial support to help individuals overcome barriers and pursue or continue their studies. Grants are available to students receiving means-tested benefits, or those whose parents or carers receive them, or who hold an Application Registration Card (ARC). Eligible students must be studying at publicly funded Further Education Colleges at Level 3 or below in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland, or Level 6 and below in Scotland. 

    Applications must be submitted by an authorised member of staff from a qualifying college on behalf of the student, not by the students themselves.
