We will let you know when you can log in to the Learner Portal to enrol on your course. Here’s how it will work:
Step by step enrolment guide
1. Log in to the Learner Portal using the login details you set up when you applied.
If you have forgotten your password, click on the Forgotten Password link to reset.
2. Fill out your personal details (e.g. Name, address etc.)
3. Provide other details such as household situation, equality and diversity, residency, employment etc.
4. Upload your evidence - upload one item at a time (scanned or photos).
Evidence required:
- Photo (must clearly show your face and no hats)
If you don’t have a photo, you can ask someone to take one for you or take one yourself with a phone. If you have trouble uploading your profile photo, check that the file type is correct or alternatively, we can take a photo for you at the college.
- Evidence of examination results (16-18 year old learners)
- One of the following: Valid UK Passport, UK Driving Licence, Birth Certificate or National Insurance Card
- UK Residency, Biometric Identity Card and/or VISA information (where appropriate)
- Additional information which is required for learners aged 19+ or those funding their studies using an Advanced Learner Loan (Further Education) or Student Finance (Higher Education):
- A statement of entitlement to benefits, dated June, July or August (where applicable)
- A letter from the Student Loans Company confirming your entitlement to funding from the Advanced Learning Loan (Further Education only)
- A letter from Student Finance confirming your entitlement to funding (Higher Education only)
5. Virtually sign your learner agreement (tick box) and submit!
6. If you are required to pay for your course, you will be emailed a link to make an online payment (19+ learners).

FAQs
- How do I order the uniform for my course
If you are required to order a uniform for your course, please download the form on the
Student Life section of our website and order it as soon as possible.
You can still start your course even if you do not have all your uniform or equipment ready for September. If you are concerned about the cost of purchasing your uniform, please speak to your tutor or progress coach when you start college, or contact our Student Finance team for support.
- When will I start my course?
College starts on Tuesday 1st September for all new learners. We’re looking forward to welcoming you to college on your first day! Before you’re due to start college, you will receive a letter or email informing you about induction week. This will detail the days and times you will need to be in college.
- How will my induction work and when will I get my timetable?
Once your online enrolment has been processed by our admissions team, you will receive email confirmation of your enrolment. After receiving this email, you will be able to access your individual timetable (which will start following your induction) from our ‘Learner App Access Hub’ by clicking on the ‘Timetable and Exam Results' icon (use the same login as your enrolment). Please note that timetables may be subject to frequent changes.
16-18 year old, full-time learners will have received induction details by text message. On your induction day, you will be greeted at reception by your tutor. They will escort you to your classroom and introduce you to some of your classmates. You will be shown around the college and your tutor will share your timetable and introduce you to your virtual learning environment, as well as explain how you will learn during your first term at college.
