Nathan Dawe gets behind BSDC Virtual Open Day
24 January 2021
Nathan Dawe may be climbing the music charts and gaining national recognition, but he has still found time to get behind Burton and South Derbyshire College’s (BSDC) upcoming Virtual Open Day on Saturday 30th January, 10am-3pm.
Fast becoming one of the UK's most popular new dance acts, Nathan is from Burton-on-Trent and attended BSDC himself before beginning on his road to stardom. He recorded a short clip which featured on the College’s Instagram story, in which he is encouraging young dreamers to register for BSDC’s Virtual Open Day so they can begin the exciting journey towards their career goals.
BSDC may not be able to hold physical open days at the moment, but this hasn’t stopped them engaging with current and potential students. The innovative virtual events are breaking down barriers and enabling those who are interested in college to gain information, advice and guidance when it comes to choosing their next steps. BSDC’s course tutors are industry experts and will be going live online to share all there is to know about each of the College’s course areas with a series of exciting and engaging talks.
Talking about the College’s upcoming Virtual Open Day, Nathan said: “Things are bit weird at the moment, but the College wants you to know that they are here to support you no matter what. I went to the College myself and there are so many benefits to going to college. Now is the time to take control of your future!”
