Course overview
This course is ideally suited for people aged 16-24 with learning difficulties and/or disabilities with Education and Health Care Plans. The learning environment is supportive and stimulating, encouraging students to grow in confidence and gain new skills. In addition to working towards qualifications in maths and English, learners have the opportunity to gain new skills in independent living, personal and social development and skills for employment, via a selection of qualifications.
Additional Facilities and Support
Support is provided to assist with learners coming to and from college. There are different entrances to use depending on the needs of the learners. At break and lunch times, there is also support within the conservatory and café to help with ordering food, money skills and to ensure all learners feel safe, relaxed and comfortable.

We believe that education is important for everyone and we offer a range of courses to support learners with disabilities and/or learning difficulties, as well as those who have few or no qualifications. Our foundation learning courses will help to prepare you for other courses in the College and/or employment by developing skills and confidence.
