What can I do next?
With a specialised Mental Health at Work Training qualification, you can become a designated mental health first aid responder in various work settings. Many organisations, especially those focused on employee well-being or those with a commitment to mental health, require trained individuals to be on-site to handle mental health emergencies, provide support to colleagues, and promote a mentally healthy work environment. The skill sets of this training are useful if you are interested in pursuing a career as a mental health advocate, human resources professional, or occupational health specialist, where you would be responsible for supporting the mental well-being of employees. It can also be a valuable addition to various roles within the workplace, including managers, supervisors, and team leaders, who play a crucial role in creating a mentally healthy and supportive work culture.
